According to the protocol signed by İTB and Ege University on April 5, 2012, activities have been planned and launched to improve the competitiveness of the İTB member companies in R&D and innovation management, accessing to the financial resources, establishing international partnerships, increasing foreign trade volume, project development and industrial property rights.
The first phase of the project encompasses analyzing the current situation of the member companies in innovation, project development, industrial property rights and drawing a map of innovation, which will be followed by activities to develop innovation skills (deficiencies, strengths, the skills that are known or unknown etc.)
The further activities of the project will be:
• Organizing training seminars
• Increasing awareness regarding R&D, innovation and partnership with the universities
• Developing R&D and innovation projects
• Project applications to the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TEYDEB), Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye (TTGV), Small & Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) and Industrial Thesis Program (San-Tez)
• Participation to the EU projects
• Support to patent research and obtain
• Support for establishing technical and commercial partnerships with the companies abroad
