E-Commodity Bazaar's service network continues to expand
İzmir Commodity Exchange (ICE) continues to conclude cooperation protocols and carry out promotional activities regarding the E-Commodity Bazaar electronic commodities trading platform developed by the ICE to improve the electronic trading of agricultural and food products among its members at the national and international level.
Within this scope, a cooperation protocol was signed between Karaman Commodity Exchange and İzmir Commodity Exchange. With this protocol, members of Karaman Commodity Exchange will be able to promote their companies and products on the e-commodity bazaar portal and they will get the opportunity to cooperate with many different local and foreign companies that are also registered in the system.
Commenting on the promotional activities carried out and cooperation opportunities sought for E-Commodity Bazaar platform, Işınsu Kestelli, chairperson of the Board of Directors of the ICE, said, "We are of the opinion that the most effective way to run this valuable project of our Exchange whose primary goal is to attach the importance and attention our agricultural sector deserves is the cooperation to be established with other chambers and exchanges".
Ekrem Baştuğ, chairperson of the Karaman Commodity Exchange, on the other hand, stated that cereals and pulses that are of vital importance in Karaman's agricultural trade were quite suitable for online trading and the functioning mechanism of the E-commodity Bazaar trading platform. He also added that they would always be supportive of the innovative and beneficial initiatives for the future of Turkish agricultural and food sectors.
