The Project on Fungal Diseases in Seedless Grape is accomplished
The Project launched by İzmir Commodity Exchange in cooperation with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Manisa Vineyards Research Station titled “Fungal Diseases in Seedless Grape Vineyards Research” has been completed. This project which involves comprehensive investigation on the reasons of the withers and death in the shoots and wooden parts of the vines in Manisa and İzmir has yielded fruitful results.
Project outcomes are given below:
- Three posters have been prepared and distributed, which indicate the diseases and methods to struggle against them.
- A technical meeting was held with the participation of the Provincial and District Directorates of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, the Commodity Exchanges, the Chambers of Agriculture, Tariş and the representatives of agricultural chemical companies, in order to introduce the project and explain the outcomes of the project.
- The presentation of the project has been conveyed to Tariş Raisin to make it more visible for the farmers.
- 3 meetings for farmers were held in Turgutlu Chamber of Commerce abd Industry, Salihli Commodity Exchange and Municipality of Saruhanlı.
