International agricultural journalists visit the ICE
Having decided to organize the press tour to Türkiye this year upon the invitation of the Agricultural Food Writers and Journalists Association (TAGYAD), representatives of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) paid a visit to İzmir Commodity Exchange (ICE) and were briefed about the activities and functioning of the ICE on Thursday, April 7 2016 under the four-day visit programme.
The IFAJ representatives were welcomed by Işınsu Kestelli, chairperson of the Board of Directors of the ICE, Barış Kocagöz, president of the Assembly, Ercan Korkmaz and Yalçın Yılmaz, deputy chairpersons of the Board of Directors, and the board member Bülent Uçak. Following the presentation made by Işınsu Kestelli regarding the activities and projects of İzmir Commodity Exchange, the IFAJ delegation accompanied by the ICE directors visited Cotton and Raisins Trading Halls and received detailed information about the trading transactions carried out daily in the halls. At the end of the visit, the IFAJ delegation and the ICE directors stood together to take a photo in memory of the day.
