İzmir meets on Instagram through #izmirborsasarayı
Established in 1891 as the first commodity exchange of Türkiye, İzmir Commodity Exchange which celebrates its 125th year of establishment this year aims to bring the people of İzmir together with the building the ICE has been using for 88 years through the Instagram photo contest.
The #izmirborsasarayı Instagram contest that is about the ICE building located at Gazi Boulevard No:2, which was inaugurated on 23 July 1928, will be held over https://instagram.com/izmirticaretborsasi/, the official Instagram account of İzmir Commodity Exchange, between 30 March and 31 May 2016.
Having stated that İzmir Commodity Exchange remains to be the pioneer exchange among the commodity exchanges in Türkiye with its 125-year experience and innovative attitude, Işınsu Kestelli, chairperson of the Board of Directors, said, "Our Exchange is a powerful representative of 125 years of experience. Our Commodity Exchange Palace located at Gazi Boulevard where we have been carrying out our work and services is among the important symbols of our city. We wanted to organize such a contest in our 125th anniversary in order to familiarize the people of İzmir with our institution".
