A Training Was Given By İzmir Commodity Exchange For Access To EU Funds
İzmir Commodity Exchange and TÜBİTAK National Contact held an activity named “EU Horizon 2020 Program and Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Biyo-Economy Area Knowledge Day” on 18.04.2014 in Izmir Commodity Exchange. Following the opening speech, representative of TÜBİTAK National Contact Points Çınar Adalı Öner made a presentation about the related topics to members of İzmir Commodity Exchange and representatives of relevant institutions and organizations. EU project programs which was founded in 1984, has showed an improvement up to the present. Adalı, informed the audience about the last EU project program EU Horizon 2020 and said: “The program aims to strengthen Research & Development and innovation systems to enable competition between the member states of the European Union. Not only countries which have been members of EU, can participate the program but also the countries are not members of EU like Türkiye as well.”
