Establishment and Fields of Activity of İZLADAŞ

İzmir Commodity Exchange Laboratory, R&D and Consultancy Services Inc. (İZLADAŞ) was established on September 11, 2013, as a wholly owned subsidiary of İzmir Commodity Exchange to provide laboratory, analysis, R&D and consultancy services.

As the first authorized cotton classification institution in Türkiye to be authorized by the Ministry of Trade, İZLADAŞ provides authorized classification services to licensed cotton warehouses.

At the same time, it supports the quality infrastructure required by the cotton trade through cotton fiber analyses conducted in accordance with international standards.

ICA Bremen Certification

In 2025, İZLADAŞ successfully completed the International Laboratory Certification Programme conducted by ICA Bremen, becoming the first and only ICA Bremen Certified Cotton Arbitration Testing Laboratory in Türkiye and the 12th in the world.

This international certification confirms the laboratory's analytical accuracy, data reliability, quality management system and compliance with international standards.

It also certifies that İZLADAŞ provides services in accordance with globally recognized quality criteria.

International Performance Tests

Since 2017, İZLADAŞ has regularly participated in the CSITC Round Trials organized by the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC).

Through these tests, İZLADAŞ continuously verifies its analytical performance on an international platform and has achieved successful results in all rounds conducted to date.

The laboratory has repeatedly achieved top rankings in comparative tests involving laboratories from different countries, demonstrating its technical competence on an international scale.

Contributions to the Sector

Through cotton fiber analyses conducted in accordance with international standards, İZLADAŞ contributes to ensuring that quality assessment processes are carried out in a reliable, transparent and comparable manner.

It provides impartial and reliable analysis services to producers, traders, industrial companies, exporters and other industry stakeholders.
