Project Summary

The Soil and Children Project is carried out with the aim of introducing children to soil, agriculture and agricultural products, raising awareness of healthy nutrition, and passing on an understanding of environmental sustainability to future generations.

In today's world, industrialization, rapid population growth and urbanization have increased risks to the natural environment and agricultural products, making concepts such as food safety, food security, environmental sustainability and healthy living increasingly important.

Rapid technological developments and changing living conditions have resulted in new generations growing up increasingly disconnected from soil and agriculture, without sufficient knowledge of seeds, seedlings and saplings. Therefore, raising a generation that protects natural resources, is environmentally conscious, values soil and agriculture, and understands the importance of healthy nutrition is of great significance.

The core philosophy of the project is to help children who have become distanced from soil, fields and gardens develop an appreciation for nature, soil and agriculture; to encourage them to spend time in nature; and to foster awareness of soil and agriculture from an early age.

The aim of this journey is to teach children, who represent our future, about the importance of soil, agriculture and agricultural products, raise awareness of healthy nutrition, and pass on the value of agricultural production and environmental sustainability to future generations.
