Establishment of İTTM

İzmir Agricultural Technology Center (İTTM) was established under the leadership of İzmir Commodity Exchange within the scope of the İzmir Development Agency’s Guided Project Support and the KOSGEB TEKMER Support Program.

Operating on the campus of the International Agricultural Research and Training Center (UTAEM) in Menemen, İTTM brings agriculture and technology together under one roof.

Fields of Activity

İTTM is a technology development center that provides R&D, innovation, product development and business development support to entrepreneurs operating in the field of smart agricultural technologies.

The center supports the development of innovative business ideas, the commercialization of technology-based agricultural solutions and collaboration between ventures and industry stakeholders.

Living Lab Infrastructure

İTTM provides a Living Lab infrastructure where ventures can test their products and services under real-world production conditions.

Through this infrastructure, the practical applicability of agricultural technologies is evaluated in the field, while supporting product development and adaptation to producers’ needs.

R&D and Entrepreneurship Support

İTTM enables companies operating within TEKMER to benefit from R&D incentives and various entrepreneurship support programs.

It contributes to enhancing the technical capabilities of ventures, developing innovative solutions and creating sustainable business models for the agricultural sector.
