In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), referring to a communication from the Ministry of Trade, it was stated that, taking into account the official holiday of Republic Day on October 29, necessary measures should be taken to keep customs offices open until the end of October 31, 2026, in accordance with the applicable legislation governing overtime work, in order to meet requests relating to export and associated customs procedures. It was further emphasized that, to prevent any disruption to export and related customs operations, maximum care should be taken to ensure the prompt registration of export declarations at the relevant Customs Directorates, the swift completion of all procedures concerning registered export declarations, including customs inspections, and the acceleration of these processes.
