In a letter received from the S.S. Mohair and Wool Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union, it is stated that approximately 45 tons of natural mohair from the 2026 harvest, limited to the available stocks in the Union's warehouses, will be offered for sale through auction in three successive sessions, in lots of 15 tons.
The auction will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 11:00 at the Ankara Commodity Exchange, located at Macun Mahallesi, 171. Sokak No:4, Yenimahalle/ANKARA.
If the sale is not completed or if any quantity remains unsold, the auction will be repeated on Tuesdays, June 30, July 14, and July 28, at the same time and address.
No separate notification will be sent for the repeat auction dates, and any changes will be announced on the Tiftikbirlik website.
In order to participate in the tender, participants must submit and deliver the document relating to their bid security to the Financial and Administrative Affairs Directorate of the Tiftikbirlik General Directorate either one day before the auction or before the auction begins on the same day. Customers wishing to obtain further information regarding the terms and conditions of sale and other matters may contact the Union's Trade and Operations Directorate.

A bid security document compliant with the tender specifications in the amount of TRY 225,000.00 for 45 tons or TRY 75,000.00 for each 15-ton lot,
The company's signature circular,
Chamber registration record bearing the Chamber's certification and the registry certificate,
The power of attorney issued to the representative, the representative's signature circular, and identification record, all of which must be submitted in original or notarized form as a complete file to the Tiftikbirlik Financial and Administrative Affairs Directorate in advance.
