Under Law No. 5957 on the Regulation of Trade in Vegetables and Fruits and Other Goods with Sufficient Supply and Demand Depth, the Wholesale Market Registration System has been established. In order to enhance transparency in the trade of vegetables and fruits and to ensure that producers are informed in real time about the sales process of their products, the Ministry of Trade has introduced a service whereby information on sales transactions conducted through the Wholesale Market Registration System is communicated to producers via short message service (SMS).

Through this service, producers will be able to monitor the prices at which their products are offered for sale directly and in real time, verify the accuracy of notifications submitted by buyers, and benefit from a transparent flow of information regarding the sales process.

Furthermore, information messages are sent to producers' mobile phone numbers registered in the Wholesale Market Registration System. If messages cannot be delivered because a producer's mobile phone number is missing or incorrect in the System, producers may apply to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Trade or Wholesale Market Directorate to register or update their mobile phone numbers in the System, without being required to register with the Wholesale Market Registration System.

Under this service, information concerning sales conducted through the Wholesale Market Registration System will be communicated to producers via SMS. The messages will include the following information:

- Information on the commission agent to whom the product was delivered and the buyer,

- Sale price of the product,

- Type and quantity of the product,

- Date of sale,

- Transaction identification number.

Through this service, producers will be able to monitor the prices at which their products are offered for sale directly and in real time, verify the accuracy of notifications submitted by buyers, and benefit from a transparent flow of information regarding the sales process.

In addition, information messages are sent to the mobile phone numbers of producers entered into the System by the notifying parties.

Producers who do not receive messages due to an incorrectly entered mobile phone number may have their mobile phone numbers registered in the System by applying to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Trade or Wholesale Market Directorate, without being required to register with the Wholesale Market Registration System.
