In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with reference to a letter from the General Directorate on the Status of Women of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, it is stated that the “Declaration of Intent for Women’s Empowerment in Sustainable Development” has been prepared as a concrete outcome of the efforts carried out in the field of women’s empowerment as part of the March 8 International Women’s Day events.

The Declaration of Intent contains strong, non-binding commitments aimed at integrating equal opportunities for women and men into the corporate culture of private-sector organizations and effectively utilizing women’s potential in the sustainable development process.
