In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with reference to a letter from the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that a decision has been taken to close the Ras al-Ayn Border Crossing, located opposite the Ceylanpınar Customs Gate, and the Hammam Border Crossing, located opposite the Zeytindalı Customs Gate, as of the end of February 2026, primarily due to financial considerations, operating costs, the proximity of alternative border crossings, and the fact that the relevant premises are not state-owned.
