In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), referring to correspondence from the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that the 6th "Bolivia for the World" Business Roundtable Meeting, scheduled for October and November 2026, will be held online. The letter also expresses that participation from Türkiye would be welcomed and provides the contact details of CAMEX representatives.

The letter further states that, based on a review of the document provided by CAMEX, business meetings will be held in the food and beverage sector on October 26-27, 2026, the fashion and textile sector on October 28, 2026, and the industrial products sector on October 29, 2026.

It is also stated that the event primarily aims to promote Bolivia's export offerings. Its online format may enable Turkish companies to explore the range of suppliers in Bolivia and establish new business connections, particularly in the food and beverage sectors and certain raw materials and manufactured products, without incurring travel or organizational expenses. The event may also help Turkish companies diversify their supply sources and identify potential local representatives or strategic partners.

Additionally, it is noted that institutional support for the meeting from the Turkish Embassy in La Paz is expected to strengthen existing contacts with the Bolivian business community and contribute to greater visibility and cooperation opportunities that could facilitate Turkish companies' entry into the Bolivian market in the future. However, it is also emphasized that certification requirements, logistics costs, minimum order quantities, and payment terms should be carefully evaluated on a company-by-company basis before proceeding with actual commercial transactions.

Best regards,

Izmir Commodity Exchange
