In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with reference to the letter of the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that Russian national standards (GOST) have been digitally delivered to the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) through the Russian Federal Agency for Technical Regulating and Metrology (ROSSTANDART), in order to enable Turkish manufacturers and exporters to use them free of charge.

The letter further states that, following the necessary arrangements to be made by TSE, Turkish manufacturers and exporters established in Türkiye will be able to access Russian national GOST Standards free of charge as of 7 January 2026.

The 4th meeting of the “Sub-Working Group on Technical Regulations, Conformity Assessment, Standardization and Metrology”, established to address issues relating to the prevention of technical barriers to trade between Russia and Türkiye, the strengthening of trade potential, and the safe circulation of products in the markets of both countries, was held in Moscow on 15-17 October 2025.

During the Working Group meeting, the Russian side, through the Russian Federal Agency for Technical Regulating and Metrology (ROSSTANDART), digitally delivered the Russian national standards (GOST) to TSE in order to enable Turkish manufacturers and exporters to use them free of charge.
