Supported Employment Summit: Neurodiversity at Work

Dear Member,

We are pleased to invite you to the "Supported Employment Summit: Neurodiversity at Work," which will be organized under the coordination of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, in cooperation with the Izmir Chamber of Commerce, the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, the Izmir Commodity Exchange, the Aegean Young Businesspeople Association, Dokuz Eylül University, and the Rotary District 2440 Federation.

The supported employment model is an approach that promotes the sustainable participation of individuals with disabilities, particularly neurodivergent individuals, in the labour market and provides guidance to employers on creating inclusive and productive working environments.

The summit aims to:

- Raise awareness of inclusive employment,

- Share examples of best practices,

- Develop sustainable partnerships with the business community.

 

In addition, as part of the summit, 10 companies that contribute to the employment of neurodivergent individuals and create inclusive working environments will be selected from among the applicants by an evaluation committee and presented with awards.

We believe that your participation will make a significant contribution to promoting inclusive employment.
