New Design of Work Permit Documents
According to a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), referring to a communication from the Ministry of Trade; it is stated that efforts to enhance the security level of work permit documents, increase protection against forgery, and incorporate security technologies similar to those currently used in high-security documents into work permit documents have been completed.

It is stated that the printing, personalization, and distribution of the newly designed permit documents began in March 2026. As in the current practice, work permit cards can be verified through the QR code on the card or via the "Foreigners' Work Permit, Work Permit Exemption and Turquoise Card Information Inquiry System" available at https://izinsorgula.csgb.gov.tr.

The letter further states that previously issued work permits that have not yet expired will remain valid and may continue to be used until their expiration dates.
