Imported Corn Sales - March 2026
According to a letter received from the Trade Department of the General Directorate of the Turkish Grain Board (TMO); 350,000 tons of corn to be imported by the institution have been made available for sale to end users, including poultry farmers (in the poultry meat and egg sectors), semolina factories, and feed mills, based on their actual consumption requirements (one month), starting March 14, 2026, at a price of TRY 12,200 per ton [excluding VAT, but including additional handling and transportation charges], against cash payment.

Closure of Export Declarations
According to a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), referring to a communication from the Ministry of Trade; a letter addressed to the Regional Directorates of Customs and Foreign Trade has been forwarded regarding the necessary measures to keep customs offices open, including overtime arrangements, to meet requests related to exports and associated customs procedures by the end of March 31, 2026, and to ensure the prompt completion of all procedures relating to export declarations.
