Candidate Pool System - İŞKUR
In a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with reference to a letter from the General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (Department of Employment Services) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security; information is provided regarding the "Candidate Pool System" introduced for employers seeking personnel.
The Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) has introduced a new application for employers seeking personnel. Previously, employers could search for candidates with the required qualifications by posting job vacancies through the Agency. With the new application, employers can view candidates with the desired qualifications through the "Candidate Pool System" without having to post a job vacancy. While the new system saves employers time and effort, it also provides more effective matching opportunities for job seekers registered with the Agency who are not currently insured through any workplace.
Employers accessing the Candidate Pool System can use the filters available on the search page to determine how many candidates with their desired qualifications are registered in the system. These filters include occupation, educational background, certificates, language proficiency, age, province of employment, and many other criteria. In addition, the Candidate Pool System enables employers to conduct detailed searches and create occupation-based candidate pools by accessing various categories of job seekers, including those who have received vocational training, may be eligible for employment incentives, receive social assistance, hold vocational qualification certificates, or receive unemployment benefits.
