İzmir Commodity Exchange has launched many new practices and projects which have served for improving Turkish agriculture, and has become a model commodity exchange in Türkiye with the new activities and services it has initiated throughout its history. Hence, İzmir Commodity Exchange possesses the role of “pioneer commodity exchange” with its century-old experience and innovative approach. On the other hand, it acts as a pressure group as one of the leading representatives of agriculture in Türkiye, by reporting, providing insights and technical details and the opinions of the actors of the sector in order to protect the interest of the Turkish agriculture. It maintains close relations with the related Ministries, all public and private sector organizations and non-governmental organizations.
