ICE introduces E-Commodity Bazaar to the entrepreneurs
The meeting to promote the functioning mechanism of the E-Commodity Bazaar electronic trading portal that has been established by İzmir Commodity Exchange (ICE) in order to increase the domestic and foreign trade capacities of the member firms was held in the Historical Assembly Hall of the ICE on Wednesday, 18 January 2017.
The meeting, in which the E-Commodity Bazaar electronic trading marketplace aimed to contribute to the domestic and foreign trade capacity of Türkiye was promoted, was attended by the entrepreneurs who do business in the fields of agriculture and livestock, and want to trade their products online.
Dr. Pınar Nacak, deputy secretary general of the ICE, who threw the opening speech of the meeting, stated that we were going through a period in which the competition conditions intensified in the global trade and the importance of promotional activities increased day by day, and said, "One of the low-cost promotion and marketing means is to be present in as many and reliable online environments as possible. It is very important to be able to create a sense of confidence in electronic trade during this period when the use of technology has increased in trade."
Following the opening speech of Mrs. Nacak, the participants were informed comprehensively about the project. In addition, the specialists from the R&D Department demonstrated how to use the portal at www.ecommoditybazaar.com in practice and answered the attendees' questions.
