Season's first products ceremony takes place in the ICE
The award ceremony for the first raisins and dried figs of 2017/18 harvest season that is traditionally organized annually in order to promote and encourage agricultural production was held in the Raisins Transaction Hall of İzmir Commodity Exchange (ICE).
In the symbolic auction where the first products of the season grown by producers from the Aegean Region were traded, Aegean Exporters' Associations purchased the raisins produced by Halil Bozdağ from Alaşehir, Manisa for 180 Turkish Liras per kilo while the dried figs produced by Kenan Yazırlı from Aydın were purchased by İzmir Commodity Exchange for 180 Turkish Liras per kilo.
